oil on canvas, 42 x 60 inches, 1998 Worked on and off for a period of two years, this painting was my attempt to paint a scene inspired equally from downtown Brooklyn and the work of Nicolas Poussin. There were four other pieces this size of different scenes but this one was the only that seemed remotely successful.
